Last view from my office this morning –
Back to the kitchen blind at home.
We had a few hours to fill before going to the airport so we paid a visit to –
A small winery to the North of Cape Town –
Very tranquil setting –

Look at the thorns protecting it. They art about 3inches long –

Then we moved onto a boutique winery just along the road –
You have to pedal this from your seat –

Not surprising a diet is I required when we get home –
Then off to the airport and the lovely Emirates lounge –
It was one of those days today –
Golf was good but nothing of interest to photograph.
Very short post today as we did very little. Went for a massage this morning ( no photos!!! ) and then had lunch at a tiny vinery tucked away in the hills –

Now tomorrow is a golf day so we’ll see what that brings.

And spotted this Marmite jar made out of beads –
A quiet day today started with a stroll along the beach to try and photo periwinkles in the shallows –
They are filter feeders with a great big foot –
Hundreds can be seen in the shallows –
The cruise ship MSC Sinfonia arrived from Namibia –
Mr Kelp gull having mussels for breakfast –
Then we saw this amazing pod of dolphins. There must have been well over 100 in total –
Too far out to get any better pictures. Sorry.
Then lunch and back for a swim –
Not a lot happening today – Went out for lunch at the back of Table Mountain –
Stopped at a fruit stall –

But it was so windy it was hard to get any decent photos –
Today we moved towards Cape Town and a beach side apartment ( pictures tomorrow as light not good today ) and visited Fairveiw Winery en route. It’s theme is based around a goat

Off to Cape Town and the sea.
