Ok. Today was a long drive South through the Canterbury plain. It’s VERY FLAT and VERY LONG. Quite repetitive and you need a drone for photographs. (Yes. May buy one!!!).
Then arrived at –

Which I thought would be a bit of a let down but was very surprised to find it was quite a little gem for lunch –

Started as a whaling station but I think money has arrived. The park was lovely –

After this we travelled down to Oamaru to see –

They come into their burrows at dusk having spent all day at sea. At £50 to get a seat we decided a penguin is a penguin in this case and had a walk about the town.
